He would never again fly with the clouds because of a damaged wing, but the Eagle was still proud to represent our great country. He was a rescue bird at the Space Coast Birding Festival in Florida and our flag was draped to his right side. After numerous attempts to get the perfect shot, he looked at me and posed perfectly.
Although most of this section was taken in Florida, the Canadian goose and the owl with her chick was taken in Colorado.
One of the best part of being a nature photographer is finding a great shot in your own back yard. The flower garden was in full bloom and the butterflies loved the zinnias. The vivid colors of the butterflies complimented the bright colors of the zinnias.
