Where there is an abundance of water, nature thrives.  Whether it is the warm sandy beaches of the Caribbean or the 72 degree water from an underground spring in Florida.

The underground springs and rivers created by them have supported human life since the beginning.  Native Americans lived near these springs where food and water was abundant.

Silver Glen Springs is one of the Florida’s State Parks.  It is where five generations of my family has visited.  We have used the area for picnics, swimming, fishing and family gatherings.  Because of the constant 72 degree temperature, we have even enjoyed going swimming on Christmas day.
